Elena Darriba Tarrazo

Elena Darriba Tarrazo has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Elena started their career as a VoIP Developer at Quobis in November 2013. Elena then transitioned to the role of VoIP Systems Engineer, where they developed bespoke VoIP solutions using Kamailio, Asterisk, and FreeSWITCH. Elena also had expertise in SIP and SDP protocols and troubleshooting network scenarios. Elena then became the Head of Presales/Architecture, taking charge of opportunity management, scope definition for new projects, architecture design, and requirements gathering. Elena conducted concept testing, responded to RFPs, provided technical support to sales teams, and designed integration solutions. Additionally, they served as a DevOps Engineer, implementing automated deployments using Ansible, creating specific containers with Docker, and migrating deployed projects to Kubernetes. Elena developed internal CI/CD platforms and adapted CI/CD strategies for continuous deployments in production environments. Elena joined Telefónica in December 2020 as a Cloud Presales Engineer, specializing in cloud technologies. Elena then worked at Ericsson as a DevOps Engineer (MCPTT), responsible for DevOps practices in Mission-Critical Push to Talk solutions. Currently, Elena holds the position of Voice Engineer at CloudTalk, demonstrating their expertise in voice-related technologies. Elena Darriba Tarrazo has a background in telecommunications and computer engineering. Elena obtained their degree in Ingeniería de Telecomunicación with a specialization in Especialidad Telemática from Universidade de Vigo in 2013. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Ingeniería de Telecomunicación from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, completing it in 2012. Additionally, Elena Darriba Tarrazo also studied Ingeniería Informática at Università degli Studi di Camerino, finishing their studies in 2011.
