Canaan Devito

Canaan Devito has a diverse work experience in the field of software QA and engineering. They started their career as a Technical Support Specialist at XYO Network in May 2018. Later, they worked as a Technical Advisor at App Design Company, Inc., where they contributed to the productization of mobile applications and SaaS solutions. In November 2018, they joined Kromeon as a Product Quality Assurance Manager, responsible for ensuring the highest overall UI/UX quality for various applications. They also contributed to marketing projects through creating mockup designs and developing landing pages. In 2019, they joined Payment Logistics as a Software QA Analyst, where they continued their work in quality assurance. Canaan joined Landed in September 2021 as a QA Engineer and later transitioned into the role of Software/QA Engineer. During their time at Landed, they built automated tests, facilitated formal QA processes, and implemented best practices. Currently, Canaan is working at Cloverly as a QA Engineer starting from April 2023.

Canaan Devito has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in International/Global Studies from UC Santa Barbara, which they obtained from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they attended Palomar College from 2014 to 2016 and earned an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Economics.

In addition to their formal education, Canaan Devito has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills. These certifications include "Advanced React" from Scrimba obtained in October 2022, "End-to-End JavaScript Testing with Cypress.io" from LinkedIn obtained in July 2021, "Software Testing Foundations: Test Planning" from LinkedIn obtained in July 2021, "Software Testing Foundations: Test Techniques" from LinkedIn obtained in July 2021, "Agile Testing" from LinkedIn obtained in May 2021, and "Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design - Google" from Coursera obtained in May 2021.
