Job information:

  • Expected full-time salary range between $120,000 - $140,000 + variable compensation + 401(k) match + benefits.
    • Note: Disclosure as required by NY Pay Transparency Law of the expected salary compensation range for this role. 

What you will be doing:

  • Reporting to the Head of Rewards and Data Analytics, you will be a critical member of the HR team, helping to shape and align the firm’s Reward philosophy with its overall business objectives.
  • You will play a significant role in driving the design, implementation, administration and communication of reward and benefit programs. You will work closely with the HR business partners as well as the business to help ensure that all aspects of benefits and compensation are delivered efficiently and effectively.

Compensation

  • Support the Head of Rewards and Data Analytics in the design of compensation plans that consider internal equity, external market competitiveness and the organization’s ability to pay.
  • Assist with annual and ad-hoc reward processes including salary reviews, bonus allocations, and compensation benchmarking.
  • Provide ongoing management of HR’s compensation system to maximize technology and deliver high standards of service delivery.
  • Assist in the development of metrics that measure the effectiveness of the firm’s compensation programs.
  • Track and communicate key issues, regulations, practices and trends in compensation that may impact the firm.
  • Support HR business partners in the recruitment process by analyzing and recommending competitive compensation packages for candidates.

Benefits

  • Participate in the annual benefits review, recommending additions, revisions and/or deletion of benefit plans; participate in negotiation of renewals and new contract agreements.
  • Be responsible for day-to-day management of Global benefit programs including, but not limited to: 401(k), Health and Welfare plans including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, wellness, FSA, executive benefits, etc.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Payroll and vendors on administration, reporting, and analysis.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including SLAs, to ensure excellent service and results.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven Reward experience
  • In-depth experience in the design and administration of compensation and benefit programs.
  • Strong analytical, project management and process management skills; exemplary attention to detail is required.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong consultative/client service skills; ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization, from CEO and Board level to broad manager/employee base.
  • Ability to manage multiple, high priority tasks and adjust to shifting priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • The ability to identify opportunities and recommend solutions for process improvement/automation.
  • High ethical standards, ability to work with discretion, and maintain the highly confidential nature of all human resources work.
  • Experience managing and developing HR systems and/or HR reporting is preferred.

Professional qualifications / certifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • HR certification a plus but not essential.
