Matthew Butz

Matthew Butz is a dedicated human resources professional currently serving as an HR Business and Talent Partner and Talent Success Specialist at Club Fitness since September 2023. Simultaneously, Matthew has been an Instructor at CycleBar since November 2022 and a Student Member of Lewis and Clark SHRM since January 2021. Previous roles include a Human Resources Intern at PENN Entertainment, Inc. and a Talent Acquisition Partner at Dierbergs Markets, where responsibilities encompassed talent acquisition, training, and development. Matthew has been a volunteer with the Angel Band Project since 2009, a non-profit initiative honoring the memory of Teresa Butz. Educational achievements include a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Organizational Psychology, and Business Management from Lindenwood University (2019-2023) and ongoing studies for a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration at the same institution.
