Joseph Wheatley, PhD is an accomplished executive and researcher with extensive experience in the fields of bioengineering and sports technology. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Non-Executive Director at Clubbie since December 2020, Joseph has played a pivotal role in developing a leading app for the amateur sports community, focusing on funding and strategic partnerships. Previously, Joseph held various strategic roles at Uncommon, including Chief of Staff to both the Chief Scientific Officer and the Chief Executive Officer, where contributions spanned technical innovation and strategic initiatives. Joseph's academic background includes a PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Warwick, marked by a significant publication in the field of synthetic biology, as well as a BSc in Biological Sciences from Aston University.
