Graeme Sands

Graeme Sands serves as the Head of Personal Banking at Virgin Money, leading teams focused on personal accounts and savings, while overseeing design, pricing, and digital delivery. Previously, Graeme held multiple leadership positions at Virgin Money, including Head of Digital Business Banking & CX and interim Head of Business Banking, where a multi-phased transformation plan and a customer-focused proposition for SMEs were developed. With extensive experience in business banking, Graeme was the Head of Business Banking Segment at Clydesdale Bank and established the first venture debt team in a mainstream UK bank. Current roles include Director at ST VINCENT (EQUITIES) LIMITED, Member of the Board of Advisors at KAL ATM Software GmbH, and Chair of the Commercial Products Board at UK Finance. Educationally, Graeme holds an MA (Hons) in Accountancy from the University of Aberdeen and is a member of ICAS.
