Steven Kmucha, MD JD FACS, currently serves as Section Chief for the Medical Consultation Section at the California Department of Health Care Services and as a Subject Matter Expert for the Hearing Aids for California Children Program since July 2021. With extensive experience as an Otolaryngology Consultant at RubiconMD and eMediHealth.com since June 2019, and ongoing roles at SIGMA ENT, Steven Kmucha has been active in the California Medical Association since 1990, participating as a consultant in ethical, legal, and judicial affairs as well as serving as a delegate. Steven Kmucha also contributes to various advisory boards and committees focused on healthcare quality and patient safety. Academic credentials include a JD in Health Law from Purdue Global Law School, a Master's in Medical Management from the American College of Physician Executives, and multiple degrees in Medicine and Otolaryngology from prestigious institutions including the University of Chicago and Stanford University.
