Susan M. Schultz

Susan M. Schultz is an accomplished legal executive with extensive experience in the financial services industry. As of May 2012, Susan has served as Executive Director and Counsel to the Executive Chairman and President at CME Group. Prior to this role, Susan held significant positions at Newedge Group, including Managing Director, Group Deputy General Counsel, and Chief Operating Officer of LCA from January 2008 to January 2012. Earlier, Susan was General Counsel at Calyon Financial Inc. from June 2007 to January 2008, following a tenure as Associate General Counsel from October 1997 to June 2007. Susan began a legal career in 1990 at Martin A. Schultz & Associates and has a foundational background with the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, where various roles were held from 1980 to 1990. Susan earned a Juris Doctor with Distinction from The John Marshall Law School and a Bachelor of Arts, Magna Cum Laude, in Political Science from John Carroll University.
