Csme Michael Shelstad

Michael Shelstad, CSME, currently serves as a Senior Compliance Specialist at CMG Financial since September 2021. With extensive experience in accounting and financial compliance, Michael has also held the position of Assistant Accountant at Mike's Plum Street Automotive since April 2008, responsible for payroll processing and tax filings. Prior roles include Financial Examiner at the Washington Department of Financial Institutions from October 2013 to September 2021, Internal Auditor at the Washington State Department of Transportation from January 2013 to October 2013, and Excise Tax Examiner at the Washington State Department of Revenue from December 2009 to December 2012. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Business/Management from The Evergreen State College, completed in 2009, and has previous education from Saint Martin's University from 2003 to 2008.
