Andrés Yaksic

Andrés Yaksic has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. Andrés started their career at SQM in 2008, where they held positions such as Strategic Marketing and Commercial Engineer, M&A and New Business Development Manager for Lithium, and Strategic Marketing and Commercial Manager for Lithium, Iodine & Chemicals. In these roles, they were involved in market research, commercial processes, and improving knowledge about mining projects globally. Andrés then became the Vice President of Lithium New Business Development and M&A, where they were responsible for looking for new mining investments with a focus on lithium. Andrés also served as the VP Finance Commercial Offices, where they were in charge of the finance and administration of all commercial offices globally. In 2015, they joined CMPC as the Corporate Risk Manager, where they led the implementation of the Risk Management Program for the company and designed and updated the governance of the program.
