Nicolas Wiegand

Nicolas Wiegand serves as the Head of the CMS US Representative Office, Partner, Co-Head of Dispute Resolution, and Managing Partner at CMS Hong Kong, gaining extensive experience in national and international commercial arbitrations and foreign investment treaty disputes across Asia. Previously, Nicolas Wiegand practiced as a lawyer at CMS Hasche Sigle since 2006 and at Clayton Utz for a brief period in 2009-2010. Early career roles included research assistant positions at the Federal Court of Justice and Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich, and a legal traineeship with an internship at Alston & Bird, LLP in New York. Nicolas Wiegand earned a doctorate in secured transactions and corporate law from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and also completed training in banking and corporate financing at Credit Suisse.
