Tanaaz Wheeler

Tanaaz Wheeler has extensive work experience in various legal and compliance roles. Tanaaz is currently the Director and Managing Counsel at CNA National since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Keating Companies, LLC as the Director of Claims and Regulatory Compliance from May 2015 to July 2019. At the Yavapai County Attorney's Office, they served as a Deputy County Attorney, specializing in the prosecution of juvenile delinquents and adult misdemeanor defendants from March 2007 to April 2015. Tanaaz also worked at Tenet Healthcare as the Manager and Compliance Officer, overseeing the company's centralized dispute resolution unit from August 2002 to March 2007. Additionally, they have experience as Staff Counsel at Best Western® Hotels & Resorts, managing international affiliate contracts and handling intellectual property matters from June 2000 to August 2002.

Tanaaz began their academic journey by enrolling in Fullerton College, where they obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Paralegal Studies in 1995. Following this, they attended Western State College of Law from 1996 to 1999, where they earned their Doctor of Law (JD) degree. In December 2000, Tanaaz Wheeler obtained a certification from the State Bar of Arizona.
