Cathie Vix-Guterl

Cathie VIX-GUTERL serves as VP of R&D Anticipation & Portfolio Performance at TotalEnergies since September 2018 and has been the Directrice of Institut Carnot MICA since its creation in 2011. Additionally, Cathie VIX-GUTERL has been a research director at the CNRS since 1992, previously holding the position of Chargée de recherche. Between October 2017 and September 2018, Cathie VIX-GUTERL was Vice-Présidente of the Association des Instituts Carnot. From 2002 to 2017, Cathie VIX-GUTERL directed the Institut de Science des Matériaux de Mulhouse, which was established in 2009, and previously led the 'Carbone et Matériaux Hybrides' group. Educational qualifications include an engineering degree from ECPM, an Habilitation à diriger des recherches from Université de Haute-Alsace, a Doctorate in Physical Chemistry and Materials Science, and a Diplôme Universitaire de Technologie in Chemistry from the University of Strasbourg.
