Kristoffer Gjerde

Kristoffer Gjerde has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries.

Starting in 2017, they worked as a Customer Service representative at Sandnes Sparebank, where they focused on establishing customer relationships and providing banking services. Kristoffer also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet (NTNU), assisting with courses on data modeling and databases in 2019.

In 2018, Kristoffer completed a summer internship at Equinor, where they contributed to digitalization efforts and developed replacement solutions for Lotus Notes applications.

At Cisco in 2019, they worked as a Software Engineer, responsible for creating an analytic platform for sensor data and participating in the development of the Cisco Webex Device Connector.

In 2020, Kristoffer joined Cognite AS as a Robotics Software Engineer, working on the integration of Boston Dynamics' Spot SDK into Cognite's platform for robot administration and data collection.

In 2021, they worked as a Software Engineer at Cognite, focusing on software development tasks.

In the same year, at Nabla Flow, they served as a Machine Learning Engineer, working on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations and wind flow assessment using Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs). Kristoffer extended this work into an interactive web application for wind predictions around buildings.

Currently, Kristoffer is employed at CNTXT as a Software Engineer II, expected to transition into the role of Lead Robotics Engineer in 2023.

Kristoffer Gjerde has a strong educational background in computer science. Kristoffer earned their Bachelor's degree in Education Programme for Specialization in General Studies and Top-level Sports from St. Svithun Vidergående Skole in 2016.
