Jason Wiegand

Jason Wiegand is a seasoned Cyber Security Engineer currently employed at CNX since May 2022. Previously, Jason served as a Cloud Security Architect at 3Cloud, focusing on Microsoft Azure application and network security, and held the position of Team Lead Risk and Compliance at K&L Gates, where Jason developed compliance controls and playbooks. Jason's career includes a significant role as a Security Analyst II at WESCO Distribution, providing security analysis for a large-scale SOC/SIEM operation, as well as experience at Allegheny County managing firewall optimization and security operations. Earlier roles include Network Administrator/IT Specialist at the Public Parking Authority of Pittsburgh and various programming positions. Jason holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Duquesne University, earned between 1994 and 1998.
