Nick Orwin

Nick Orwin serves as the General Manager Fleet and Compliance at Co-op since October 2019, overseeing the management of approximately 2,400 roadgoing assets and 1,400 MHE assets across 13 national locations, along with chairing national transport union meetings and leading logistics sustainability projects. Prior to this role, Nick held various positions at Close Brothers Vehicle Hire, including Head of Engineering and Maintenance, where oversight included a mixed fleet of over 6,000 vehicles and budget management. Nick's experience extends back to Warburtons as a National Fleet Engineer, managing the legal compliance of approximately 1,400 vehicles, as well as previous roles as Group Transport Manager at CPL Distribution and National Business Development Manager at the Freight Transport Association. Nick Orwin holds a Full City & Guilds degree in Motor Transport Engineering from Tile Hill College Coventry.
