Nick Speight Mbe

Nick Speight MBE is an experienced People Director currently leading a Centre of Excellence team at the Co-op, focusing on various aspects of HR including Reward & Benefits, Wellbeing, and Inclusion. With a career spanning over two decades, Nick has held significant roles such as People Director for Reward, Wellbeing, and Policy; Head of People Operations; and has been interim Business Services Director. Additionally, Nick serves as a Non-Executive Director for Co-op Academies Trust and is the Chair of Governors for Co-op Academy Failsworth. Previous experience includes leadership positions at Sainsbury's, Ceridian, Somerfield, and NAAFI, demonstrating a strong background in HR management and business services. Nick holds a BA in German Studies from The University of Manchester and has furthered education through the Manchester Open Learning program.
