Howard Shifflett (Pete)

Howard (Pete) Shifflett possesses extensive experience in technical roles within telecommunications and sports communications. At CoachComm since August 1990, Pete serves as a JMU football headphone technician, ensuring effective coaching communications during games. Concurrently, Pete has been with James Madison University since February 1989, where responsibilities have included serving as a headphone technician and a retired Installation/Repair Tech II, with duties involving CATV campus system design, project management for telecommunication installations, and the provision of communication systems for the football team. Prior experience includes a role as System Lead Tech at Time Warner Cable from March 1978 to February 1989. Pete holds an associate degree in Electronic Engineering from Blue Ridge Community College, earned between 1976 and 1978.
