Emily Currence, MS, CRC, LCMHC has had a varied work experience. In 2021, they began working as a Team Member for Mindset of Possibility. In 2019, they began working as an Assistant Women Basketball Coach for Page High School. In 2018, they began working as a Mental Health Counselor for Restoration Place Counseling. In 2017, they began working as a Clinical Research Specialist, SR for Duke University Health System and as an Assistant Learning Specialist for Academic Support Program for Student Athletes for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In 2016, they began working as a Research Assistant for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In 2014, they began working as a Head Research Assistant of Human Psychophysiological Research Lab for Wheeling Jesuit University.
Emily Currence obtained their Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Wheeling University in 2015. Emily then went on to receive their Master of Science in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2017.
