Jeffery Johnson NASM, CPT

Jeffery Johnson NASM, CPT has over five years of experience in the field of youth development. In 2014, they began working as a Youth Development Professional for Boys & Girls Clubs of the Golden Triangle, where they were responsible for implementing club programs, ensuring a safe environment for kids to learn and grow, and building positive relationships with the youth. In 2015, they took on the role of Unit Director at Boys & Girls Club Starkville, where they established unit programs, activities, and services that prepared youth for success, ensured facilities, equipment, and supplies were maintained, and ensured units had adequate staff to supervise members and ensured staff was trained. In 2016, they began working as a Personal Coach for CoachUp and as the Founder/CEO of Speak Life Memphis LLC. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Youth Development Specialist at Neighborhood Christian Center, where they identified, developed, and coordinated opportunities to enhance youth spiritually and educationally, documented and tracked progress of program participants, and worked effectively with community partners as assigned.

Jeffery Johnson obtained a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Mississippi State University from 2013 to 2015. Jeffery also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies from Mississippi State University from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Mississippi University for Women from 2010 to 2013, studying Art Teacher Education. In December 2017, they obtained a Certified Personal Trainer certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
