Tim West has worked in various roles in the sports industry for over 18 years. From 2002 to 2005, they were a Professional Athlete in the Korean Basketball League. From 2005 to 2007, they were a Health and Physical Education Teacher at Boston Public Schools. From 2007 to 2010, they were a Men's Basketball Coach at Bunker Hill Community College. From 2010 to 2012, they were a Behavior Analyst at Boston ABA. From 2012 to 2016, they were a Private Basketball Coach at CoachUp. Since 2016, they have been an Ultimate Hoops Basketball Trainer at Life Time - The Healthy Way of Life Company, where they promote and sells Ultimate Hoops programs while providing in-class instructional programs in the sport of basketball. Tim also drives Ultimate Hoops training revenue by connecting with other team members within the club as well as potential and current members.

Tim West attended Northeastern University from 1997 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Psychology/Education.
