Coach / Skills Trainer at CoachUp

Yoseph Elfakahany has a wealth of experience in coaching and training basketball players. Yoseph has worked with a variety of teams and organizations since 2013. Their earliest experience was as the Head Basketball Coach for Randolph Youth Basketball Association, where they created practice plans, communicated with players and parents, and established team and player guidelines. From 2014 to 2015, they were a Coach and Skills Trainer for Dana Barros Basketball Club, where they assisted with weekly group trainings, promoted programs and clinics, and coached AAU teams from elementary to high school levels. From 2015 to 2018, they were a Coach and Skills Trainer for CoachUp, where they developed and implemented individualized basketball programs and strength and conditioning programs for players, worked with athletes individually and in a small group format, and utilized different marketing and promotional skills to build up a solid clientele. In 2016, they were an Assistant Basketball Coach for Bristol Community College, where they assisted with the implementation of practice plans, built a rapport with student athletes, and tracked in-game statistics on the bench. From 2017 to 2018, they were the Men’s Assistant Basketball Coach for Massasoit Community College, where they organized and implemented practice plans, developed the team’s off-season training, and managed the team’s roster and recruiting players. In 2019, they were the Professional Basketball Head Coach for Brujos de Izalco - Liga Mayor de Baloncesto (LMB), where they assessed player’s abilities and implemented offensive and defensive systems to utilize their strengths, worked in collaboration with team’s management personnel, local government officials, team sponsors, and the community, and devised different community outreach projects for the team and community to interact. Lastly, from 2015 to present, they have been an Assistant Coach for Mass Attack AAU, where they created practice plans, established team and player guidelines/expectations, and instructed players using multiple teaching techniques.

Yoseph Elfakahany received their High School Diploma from Blue Hills Regional Technical School in 2008, having studied Health Occupations Education. Yoseph then went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Lasell University in 2012.
