Jeff Alan Thompson began their work experience in 1990 as a Manager at Dairy Queen. From 1992 to 1993, they worked as a Driver Warehouse at DeVilbiss Healthcare. Jeff Alan then moved on to Wilson Sporting Goods Co., where they worked as a Process Technician from 1993 to 2004. In 2004, they joined Berry Plastics as a Process Technician, and later took on roles as a SIPA Technician and Process Engineer. Jeff Alan worked at Berry Plastics until 2022. Currently, they are employed at COAST Systems as a Field Engineer, starting in March 2022.

Jeff Alan Thompson earned a degree in Engineering Management Technology from the University of Arkansas Grantham, where they studied from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained their High School Diploma from Bradford High School, attending from 1989 to 1992. In addition to their formal education, Thompson has also obtained various certifications, including ISO 9001 Lead Auditor - Quality Certification from Snow in October 2020, SQACA-PRM-CBT Product Risk Management CBT from Johnson & Johnson in March 2019, SQACA-SQE2-SPC Statistical Process Control from Johnson & Johnson in March 2019, SQACA-SQE2-SPC-Test Statistical Process Control Test from Johnson & Johnson in March 2019, Electrical Circuits 1 from Tennessee Technology Center at Jackson in August 2016, Fluid Power 1 from Tennessee Technology Center at Knoxville in May 2016, Scientific Molding/Process Optimization/Troubleshooting via SIM from John Bozzeli in February 2013, Electrical Maintenance with R-30iA Controller from FANUC FA America in May 2012, and TechTrax Design of Experiments for Injection Molding from Tech Trax sarl in March 1998.
