David Wilkins

David Wilkins is the Managing Director for the Coastal Cloud Public Sector team. David has spent the bulk of his career assisting public sector clients throughout the United States and across the globe, in addition to a stint leading a state agency in Florida. David retired from Accenture after a 29-year career in its Public Sector practice. His career evolved from a technology role to global leadership roles in their multibillion dollar public sector practice. After retirement, he accepted an appointment from Governor Rick Scott to lead the Florida Department of Children and Families. He directed several of the most significant change programs in the history of the agency. Based on his success, the Governor asked him to serve in a Chief Operating Officer role to drive change and cost improvements throughout state agencies. David and his wife, Tanya, also founded a nonprofit organization focused on mentoring and counseling underprivileged youth, and they are both very active in their church and local civic organizations. David has three grown daughters and loves basketball, tennis, the beach and his wife, but not in that order!
