Jose Lopez

Jose Lopez is a dedicated healthcare professional with extensive experience in ophthalmology and research. Currently serving as the Lead Ophthalmic Technician/Scribe at Coastal Eye Care since August 2016, Jose Lopez assists ophthalmologists in a range of procedures, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques for various eye conditions. Previous roles include Research Assistant at NYU Langone Medical Center, contributing to a study involving over 700 soldiers, and Emergency Medicine Scribe at Meadowlands Hospital and Medical Center, where documentation and patient care were key responsibilities. Jose Lopez holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from St. George's University, a Post Baccalaureate Pre-Medical Program from William Paterson University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the State University of New York Cortland.
