Jerry Byrd is an experienced security professional currently serving as a Captain and Assistant Project Manager at Paragon Security since March 2018. In this leadership role, Jerry oversees daily operations at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda and manages tasks across four locations in the Washington, DC area, supervising a total of 475 officers and supervisors. Additionally, Jerry handles payroll processing in the Valiant system, along with managing vacation and sick leave. Prior to this position, Jerry worked as a Lieutenant at Coastal International Security, Inc. and briefly served as a System Analyst in the United States Marine Corps in November 2017. Jerry attended Barstow Community College from 1992 to 1994.
