Provas Das is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in manufacturing and engineering management. Currently serving as the Manufacturing Director at Coats Bangladesh Limited since February 2012, Provas oversees industrial sewing thread operations and strategic expansion projects across the Bangladesh cluster. Previous roles include Manufacturing Manager and Production Manager, where responsibilities encompassed establishing operating standards, setting KPIs, and managing plant operations. Provas has held engineering positions at Coats and Youngone Bangladesh Ltd., as well as serving as Technical Manager at Emkay Enterprises Ltd., focusing on installation and training for industrial printers. Provas holds an MBA in Finance from Chittagong University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology.
