Nick Terkay

Nick Terkay currently serves as the VP of Engineering at Cobalt, leading the Engineering organization and representing it at the executive level since December 2020. Terkay has a robust background in engineering leadership, previously holding positions such as Head of Engineering and Senior Director of Engineering at Cobalt, where Terkay contributed to the company's growth in the Pentest-as-a-Service market. Before joining Cobalt, Terkay founded acronym, a business focused on data protection automation, and served as VP of Engineering at dscout, developing a B2B SaaS research platform. Terkay's extensive experience includes engineering roles at various companies, emphasizing security, team building, and product development across multiple platforms. Terkay holds both a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Boulder.
