Patrick Schindler has worked in the field of Electronics Engineering, Quality, and Test for the past 20 years. In 2021, they began working as a Staff Quality & Test Engineer and Senior Test Engineer for Cobalt Robotics, applying 10 years of Aerospace experience along with 10 years of Bay Area Startup Experience. In 2017, they began working as a Principal Engineer for their own company, Schindler Engineering, and also as a Senior Test Engineer for ChargePoint. In 2016, they worked as a Value Engineer for The Whole Cart (on Contract for Google). In 2015, they worked as a Senior Engineer for ELECTRIC MOVEMENT INC (on Contract for Google), starting an EE department from scratch and doing rapid prototyping in the field of robotics and transportation. In 2014, they worked as a Test Engineer for Tesla Motors. In 2013, they worked as a Quality Engineer for Zero Motorcycles, Inc., deploying a grid-tied charge/discharge production battery tester. In 2011, they founded their own start-up company, Methods Technology, importing containers and air shipments from China, handling all the logistics, supplier vetting, harmonized tax codes, incoming testing and inspection, and modifications. In 2001, they began working as a Member Of Technical Staff for Sandia National Laboratories.

Patrick Schindler obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University between 2005 and 2008. Patrick also received a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electronic Engineering Technology from DeVry University between 1998 and 2001. In addition, they obtained a High Voltage Safety Officer certification from Schindler Engineering in April 2018, as well as several other certifications related to Java, LabView, MECP, LEAN, Sigma, etc. through courses taken through the DOE and other Authorities.
