Dave Hayes

Dave Hayes has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Dave began their professional career at Marriott International as an Assistant Controller, where they were responsible for overseeing various accounting processes and managing a team.

Dave then joined PwC, where they held positions such as Associate, Senior Associate, and Manager in the Internal Audit department. During their time at PwC, they worked with clients from various industries, led audit teams, conducted SOX and internal audit testing, and provided recommendations for process improvement.

After their tenure at PwC, Dave worked at The WhiteWave Foods Company as an Audit Services Senior Manager, before moving on to CoBank. At CoBank, they held multiple roles, including Senior Manager Internal Audit, Director Internal Audit, and Vice President, Internal Controls & Operational Risk.

Throughout their career, Dave has demonstrated a strong understanding of internal controls, operational risk management, auditing, and financial processes. Dave has developed leadership skills and has been responsible for budgeting, planning, execution, and reporting results to senior management. Dave has also contributed to the career development of others through coaching and mentorship.

Dave Hayes attended Virginia Tech's Pamplin College of Business for both their undergraduate and graduate studies.
