Justin Merkowitz

Justin Merkowitz has over 15 years of experience in project finance and banking, currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Project Finance at CoBank since September 2007. In this role, Justin is responsible for negotiating and executing non-recourse project finance senior debt for renewable and conventional power generation assets, managing relationships with top-tier sponsors. Previous positions at CoBank include Executive Director roles overseeing substantial portfolios, risk management, and credit underwriting. Justin's career began at Citywide Banks as an Assistant Vice President after earning a BSBA in Finance from Creighton University and an MBA in Finance, Accounting, and International Business from Regis University.
