Julie Henson

Julie Henson, CFRE, currently serves as the Vice President of Development at Coburn Place Safe Haven since March 2019, where previous roles included Director of Donor Relations and Annual Gift Officer. Henson's experience includes managing donor relations at Riley Children's Foundation and engaging community partners at Coburn Place, significantly growing in-kind donations. An instructor at Purdue University from 2012 to 2015, Henson taught various composition and creative writing courses. Henson also coordinated volunteer efforts for United Way of Central Indiana's ReadUP initiative, mobilizing over one thousand volunteers. Henson holds a Master's Fine Arts in English Language and Literature and a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts from Purdue University.
