Tiffany Mao

Tiffany Mao has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Tiffany began their career as a Science and Engineering Apprenticeship Program (SEAP) Intern at the US Naval Research Laboratory in 2016, where they tested the combination of gold nanoparticles and hybridization chain reactions for amplification purposes. Tiffany then worked as a Research Intern at the Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering in 2017, where they modeled the effectiveness of photodynamic therapy agents for cancer treatment using optical coherence tomography.

In 2019, Tiffany joined Rancher Labs as a Software Intern, where they automated various processes, including testing and management of Multicluster Apps, Role-Based Access Control features, and Global DNS Providers. Their contributions significantly shortened the validation testing process and ensured high user application availability.

In 2021, Tiffany interned at Facebook as a Software Engineer intern, focusing on iOS development. Tiffany then moved on to work at Meta (formerly Facebook) the following year as a Software Engineer, specializing in software development.

Most recently, Tiffany joined Cocoon as a Software Engineer in 2023, where they continue to utilize their skills and expertise in software engineering.

Tiffany Mao attended Montgomery Blair High School from 2014 to 2018, where they earned their High School Diploma with a focus on Computer Science. Following their high school education, they enrolled at the University of California, Berkeley in 2018. Tiffany is expected to graduate in 2022 with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, with their academic studies encompassing various fields such as Economics, Computer Science, and Fine Arts.
