Bala Neerumalla

Bala Neerumalla is a seasoned professional in security and infrastructure, currently serving as the Head of Security and Infrastructure at Coda since April 2021 and as an Advisor at Utiltyx. Prior experience includes leading the Security Engineering and Compliance team at Nutanix from March 2016 to April 2021, and a significant role at Microsoft from November 2001 to February 2016 as a Principal Security Architect, where Bala was a key security visionary and the Chief Security Officer for Azure SQL DB, overseeing the Always Encrypted engineering team. Bala's career began at HCL Technologies as a Member of Technical Staff from 1998 to 2000. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, completed in 1998.
