Hunter McPadden

Hunter McPadden has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Hunter currently holds the position of Director of Development Operations at Code and Theory, a role they assumed in January 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Technical Director at the same company since September 2021.

Before joining Code and Theory, Hunter worked as a Sr DevOps Engineer at VillageMD from August 2020 to October 2021. Hunter also held the position of Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineering Manager at ATLATL Software from July 2019 to July 2020.

Hunter's earlier experiences include working as a Software Engineer at The Walt Disney Company from January 2019 to July 2019, Software Engineer at National Geographic from December 2016 to January 2019, Software Engineer at NeoSystems Corp from January 2015 to November 2016, and Software Engineer at LivingSocial from September 2014 to December 2014.

Hunter started their career as a Data Engineer at Wells & Associates in January 2012, where they worked until August 2014. Before that, Hunter founded and managed The Grow Company, LLC - Charlottesville, a design|build business specializing in landscape design and construction management from October 2009 to November 2011.

In the early years of their career, Hunter worked as an intern at The Cox Company from May 2008 to August 2008 and later became a Traffic Study Coordinator from May 2006 to May 2008. During this time, they completed eight traffic studies and coordinated the hiring and supervision of a team of 20 individuals.

Overall, Hunter McPadden has gained extensive experience in development operations, software engineering, and project management throughout their career.

Hunter McPadden attended Virginia Tech from 2004 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering. In addition to their degree, they also obtained the certification of Engineer-in-Training (EIT) from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) in April 2009. Furthermore, Hunter McPadden received certifications as a Cognos TM1 10.1 Developer and a Cognos TM1 10.1 Administrator from IBM in September 2015 and May 2016, respectively.
