Juan Luciano

Associate Director, Product Strategy at Code and Theory

Juan Luciano has a diverse work experience starting from 2010. Juan worked as a Michigan Operations Maintenance (MiOM) Intern at The Dow Chemical Company in 2010. In 2012, they were a Product Engineering Intern at Alcoa. From 2013 to 2017, they worked at Whirlpool Corporation in various roles, including System Integrator for the Gladiator Garageworks product line and as a WERLD Engineer in their rotational program. From 2018 to 2021, Juan worked at IA Collaborative as a Business Strategist and Senior Business Strategist, collaborating with researchers and designers to develop strategies that balance user needs, market dynamics, and organizational capabilities. Currently, they are working at Code and Theory as a Senior Product Strategist and Associate Director of Product Strategy, where they listen to clients and develops the right products to meet their needs.

Juan Luciano's education history begins in 2011 when they attended the International Engineering Summer School (IESS) at Technische Universität Berlin. During this program, they focused on wood gasification and advanced German language studies.

In 2009, Juan enrolled at the University of Michigan, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Juan completed this program in 2013.

Juan then continued their education at the University of Michigan, earning a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2013 to 2014.

In 2017, Juan embarked on a dual degree journey at Northwestern University. Juan pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the Kellogg School of Management, which they completed in 2019. Concurrently, they also pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Design Innovation from Northwestern University during the same time period.
