Tahir Malik has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Tahir started their career as an Assistant PR & Media Manager at Royal Television Network while completing their MBA. Later, they worked as a CSR (Associate II) in the Customer Service Department at Mobilink, a prominent telecommunication organization. Tahir also co-founded First Stop Car Care and Alliance Solution, both entrepreneurial projects focused on automotive care and aluminum fabrication.
In 2005, Tahir joined Pakistan State Oil (PSO) as a Senior Territory Manager Retail & Lube Sales, where they were responsible for managing the marketing, operations, logistics, and sales of all POL products in Lahore, Sheikhupura, Faisalabad, and Sargodha regions. Tahir achieved exceptional sales performance and consistently met sales objectives throughout their tenure, leading to a considerable sales growth of up to 200% in a single year.
Afterward, Tahir took on the role of Regional Sales Manager (B2B/Industrial Sales & Key Accounts) at PSO, where they were responsible for overseeing industrial sales and managing key accounts. During their time in this role, PSO maintained a dominant market share.
Tahir then transitioned to the position of Regional Business Manager (Retail & HSE) at PSO, overseeing the retail business for Lahore and Faisalabad regions. Tahir achieved consistent sales growth of 25% annually for four consecutive years, despite facing tough competition from multinational companies and regional giants. Tahir also expanded the retail network by 20% during this period.
Alongside their corporate roles, Tahir worked as a Senior Business Development & Marketing Consultant at Biz Expert Pakistan. In this capacity, they served as a project and marketing consultant for Match Makers Inc USA, where they played a pivotal role in developing and launching Pakistan's first match-making platform, Qaboolhai.com. Tahir also worked as a marketing campaigns consultant for Midas Media, focusing on various projects, including election campaigns.
Currently, Tahir is the Director of Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Strategic Planning at Code Builderz, a software development, and digital marketing agency. In this role, they lead the Pakistan office, driving sales and marketing efforts, ensuring excellent customer service, and contributing to strategic planning.
Additionally, Tahir has served as a visiting faculty member at the University of Central Punjab, where they taught various courses such as Introduction to Management, Strategic Marketing, and Business Ethics. Tahir also performed duties such as writing lecture material, conducting seminars and tutorials, marking student papers, and providing guidance and advice to students.
