A proven cybersecurity executive and industry veteran with over 20 years of experience in marketing and go-to-market. Johanna most recently served as the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of CrowdStrike (CRWD), a cybersecurity firm specializing in endpoint protection, threat intelligence and incident response. As the CMO, Johanna led all elements of global marketing, guiding the brand of CrowdStrike from an agile start-up to industry leader, all the way to the company’s initial public offering (IPO), largely hailed as one of the most successful cybersecurity IPOs in history. Prior to joining CrowdStrike, Johanna held the role of Chief Marketing Officer at Websense. (now Forcepoint). While at Websense, her vision helped shape the firm’s marketing and go-to-market strategies, resulting in the company gaining the largest world-wide market share in web security, simultaneously expanding revenues from $30m to over $360m. Johanna currently serves on the Board of Directors of Freshworks and Theta Lake. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from University of Brighton, United Kingdom.
