Michelle Velyunksiy

Michelle Velyunskiy is an undergraduate pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Northeastern University. Currently, Michelle serves as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Khoury College of Computer Sciences, focusing on computational biology and machine learning within the Radivojac Lab. In addition, Michelle volunteers as a Software Developer with Code4Community, developing a survey generation service for the JPAL Poverty Action Lab. Previously, Michelle gained valuable experience as a Software Engineering Co-op at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, contributing to the Single Cell Portal team. Additionally, during the tenure as a Breast Cancer Research Intern at Horiuchi Lab at Northwestern University, Michelle was recognized as a second author on a published research paper in Cell Chemical Biology.
