Varun Mohan

Varun Mohan has an extensive work experience that spans across various companies and roles.

Varun co-founded and currently serves as the CEO of Exafunction and Codeium since June 2021.

Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, Varun worked at Nuro from June 2020 to May 2021 as a Tech Lead Manager, Autonomy Infrastructure. Before that, they held positions as a Tech Lead and Software Engineer at Nuro from August 2019 to June 2020 and from January 2018 to August 2019, respectively.

Varun also gained valuable experience as a Software Engineering Intern at Databricks, Cloudian Inc, Quorao, Cloudera, LinkedIn, and Samsung Electronics. Additionally, they worked as a Research Intern at Stony Brook University.

Varun Mohan completed their High School education at The Harker School from 2010 to 2014. Varun then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, with a minor in Mathematics, from 2014 to 2017 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Later, in 2017, Varun completed their Master of Engineering (MEng) in Computer Science from the same institution, Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
