Marco Ghessi has had a long and varied career in Human Resources. Marco began their career in 2006 as an HR Assistant at Unilever, where they were responsible for Talent Management & Learning and a Global HR Transformation project. In 2007, they joined Nestlé Purina PetCare Europe as an HR Support, handling recruitment and onboarding, as well as training. That same year, they began working at Saipem in a variety of roles, including Group HR Development, HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, and HR Development Specialist. In 2016, they moved to Amplifon as an HR Manager. From 2017 to 2020, they were an HR Business Partner at Flex, where they were responsible for a range of initiatives, including recruiting, employer branding, workforce planning, organization design, onboarding, training, performance review, talent review, succession planning, compensation review, engagement, inclusion and diversity, welfare, internal communication, and administration. In 2020, they were appointed Chief People and Culture Officer at Codemotion.

Marco Ghessi's education history includes a Master in Organization & Human Resources Management from Università Bocconi in 2006 and a Degree in Political Science from Università di Pavia from 1999 to 2005. Marco has also obtained certifications from LinkedIn in Creating an Alliance with Employees in September 2020, from Skillsoft in Becoming an Emotionally Intelligent Leader in 2020, and from HRC Digital Generation in Digital Generation Ambassador 2019 in 2019.
