Kien Pham

Kien Pham has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Kien began their career as a Web Application Developer at the University of Tulsa, where they developed and managed an Incident Report system and a Campus Housing Selection system. Kien then joined SendGrid as a Software Engineer, where they worked for four years.

After that, Kien co-founded Calolo and served as the CTO. In this role, they created an interactive SMS system and built a team while managing two developers. Their efforts helped the team secure spots in prestigious startup programs and they also built a native Swift Calolo app.

Following their time at Calolo, Kien worked at TIDY Homekeeping as a Senior Software Engineer before joining Toyota Racing Development USA as a Senior Software Engineer. At Toyota, they developed various services and APIs, created microservice and serverless infrastructures, and contributed to the stabilization of real-time race strategy software used in NASCAR races.

Kien then joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Solutions Architect, where they worked in both senior and regular positions. Kien later joined Coinbase as a Staff Cloud Solutions Architect, making significant contributions to projects such as the Coinbase + BlackRock integration and the successful launch of Coinbase NFT.

Currently, Kien holds the position of Staff Software Engineer at CodeSee, starting in 2023.

Kien Pham completed their education with a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from The University of Tulsa, from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the same university, from 2003 to 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Kien Pham has obtained various certifications related to cloud computing and data analytics. Kien holds certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google, including certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, AWS Certified Developer Associate, and GCP Associate Cloud Engineer. Kien also possesses specialized certifications like AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty and GCP Cloud Digital Leader.

Furthermore, Kien Pham has achieved certifications in multiple areas within Amazon Web Services, including specialties like AWS Certified Alexa Skill Builder - Specialty, AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty, and AWS Certified Security - Specialty. Kien has also obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate, and AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional certifications.
