Susan Barker

Susan Barker currently serves as Chief of Staff at Codetta Bio™, a position held since January 2024, after having been the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships at Codetta Bio, Inc. from November 2021 to January 2024. Prior to their roles at Codetta Bio, Susan held multiple significant positions at the University of Virginia, including Associate Dean of Research and Senior Director of Research Advancement in the School of Engineering and Applied Science, from April 2015 to November 2021. Earlier in their career, Susan worked as a Technical Consultant for System Planning Corporation, providing expertise to DARPA and DTRA, and held positions at General Dynamics and the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Susan holds a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Michigan and a BS in Chemistry from William & Mary.
