Ajay Chaudhary

Ajay Chaudhary has extensive work experience in the commodities trading industry. Ajay currently works as the Director of Strategy General at COFCO International, where they are responsible for reviewing and optimizing the corporate business portfolio, defining strategic initiatives, and conducting benchmarking analysis. Prior to this role, Ajay served as the Head of Global Sugar & Ethanol Research + Trading at Export Trading Group, where they were a key member of the leadership team and responsible for trading strategies and P&L management. Ajay also worked as an Independent Consultant, specializing in agricultural commodities, and as an Investment Analyst at Henderson Global Investors. Earlier in their career, Ajay held various positions at Bunge, Merrill Lynch, Nestlé S.A., Cargill, PepsiCo-Frito Lay, and they also had their own entrepreneurial venture. Throughout their career, Ajay has demonstrated expertise in trading, procurement, risk management, and strategy development in the commodities industry.

Ajay Chaudhary completed a Bachelor's degree in Dairy Technology from the National Dairy Research Institute in 1987. Ajay then pursued a Master's degree in the same field from the same institute from 1987 to 1989. Following that, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad between 1990 and 1992. In 2011 and 2012, Ajay participated in the Leadership Development Program at Esade.
