Stian Kurvers

Stian Kurvers has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Stian started their career as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting in 1997. Following that, they worked as a Manager Midoffice & Risk Control and Senior Risk Analyst at Reliant Energy Trading and Marketing BV from 2000 to 2002. Stian then joined BHP Billiton Marketing as Manager Credit Risk LME Metals divisions from 2003 to 2005. Stian went on to become the Chief Financial/Risk Officer at Energy Capital Management BV from 2005 to 2010. In 2010, they pursued their own venture as an FX Day Trader before transitioning to Nidera BV as a Credit Risk Manager from 2011. Currently, Stian holds the position of Head of Credit Risk Portfolio Management at COFCO International starting from 2017.

Stian Kurvers completed their MSc in Financial Management and Economics at Nyenrode Business University from 1995 to 1996. Prior to that, they obtained their MSc in Economics from Wageningen University & Research between 1988 and 1995.
