Kavitha Rajagopalan

Kavitha Rajagopalan has worked as a Software Engineer III at COFENSE since June 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Thomson Reuters from June 1999 to November 2016. At Thomson Reuters, Kavitha held the role of Senior Software Engineer from July 2001 to November 2016 and also worked as a Contract Software Engineer from June 1999 to July 2001. Their responsibilities included guiding teams through all phases of software development, utilizing problem-solving capabilities to develop web applications, and implementing Agile methodology to strengthen test-driven development.

Kavitha Rajagopalan attended Fatima Convent for an unknown period of time, but it is unclear whether they obtained a degree or pursued any specific field of study there. Kavitha then went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli. Kavitha further pursued their education and obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from Rochester Institute of Technology.

In addition to their formal education, Kavitha has also obtained several certifications. In July 2019, they completed the API101 - Defending WebAPIs course at Security Compass. Kavitha also completed the JAV201 - Defending Java and SEC101 - OWASP Top 10 courses at the same institution during the same time period. Prior to this, Kavitha completed the First Look: Java 10 and Java 11 course and the Nail Your Java Interview course on LinkedIn in May and April 2019 respectively. Kavitha also obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in August 2019.
