Business Development Representative at Cofense

Ryan MacDonald has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Ryan started their career at Nationstar Mortgage in 2008, where they worked as a Loan Servicing Specialist. In this role, they handled default servicing for Government insured and Freddie Mac loans, performed compliance reviews, and served as a project manager for various Government Servicing projects.

In 2012, Ryan joined Caliber Home Loans as a Compliance Analyst. Ryan analyzed, revised, and developed policies and procedures related to Mortgage Servicing and provided guidance on interpreting laws, regulations, and policies. Ryan also tracked and implemented legislation and GSE investor guidelines.

After that, Ryan worked at Fannie Mae as a Business Analyst II. Ryan conducted application analysis, participated in functional application design, and created and analyzed ad-hoc reports. Ryan was also responsible for root-cause analysis and implementing solutions, as well as validating and analyzing MI Resolution recoveries.

In 2014, Ryan joined RealPage, Inc. as a Vendor Compliance, where they served as a liaison between vendors and property management groups. Ryan analyzed and provided assistance to vendors for insurance coverage requirements and maintained necessary legal documents for vendor approval.

Later in 2014, Ryan moved to Prospect Mortgage, LLC as a Compliance Analyst III. Ryan analyzed data and reports for Compliance audits, provided weekly and monthly reporting to management, and made recommendations on risk-focused audit findings.

In 2015, Ryan joined MoneyGram International as a Compliance Analyst II. Ryan investigated suspicious activity related to money laundering and fraud, reviewed consumer transaction activity, and identified potential fraud. Ryan also filed consumer transaction activity for MoneyGram locations in Canada.

Ryan then joined AmeriHome Mortgage Company, LLC as a Compliance Analyst in 2016. Ryan continued their work in compliance by analyzing data and reports for audits and remediation.

From 2018, Ryan worked at Homepoint. Ryan initially started as a Fair Lending Analyst, focusing on ensuring policy and procedures accuracy for a CFPB audit. Ryan then transitioned to a Senior HMDA Analyst role, where they specialized in Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) analysis.

Most recently, Ryan joined COFENSE in 2022 as a Business Development Representative.

Ryan MacDonald completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics and Finance at The University of Texas at Dallas from 2005 to 2008.
