Melissa Gunby

English Instructor & Honors Program Coordinator at Coffeyville Community College

Melissa Gunby is currently serving as the Eta Gamma PTK Chapter Advisor, Honors Coordinator, and English Instructor at Coffeyville Community College since August 2021. Previously, Melissa worked as a Term Lecturer at the University of Nevada, Reno from August 2017 to March 2022 and held adjunct instructor positions at Woodland Community College, Solano Community College, and Napa Valley College from 2009 to 2017, teaching a range of transfer and developmental level English classes. Additionally, Melissa was an Instructional Assistant at Sacramento City College, providing one-on-one tutoring to writers and facilitating workshops. Melissa holds a Bachelor’s degree in History and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Willamette University, as well as Master’s degrees in English: Composition and Rhetoric from California State University-Sacramento and in Disability Services for Higher Education from the City University of New York - School of Professional Studies.
