Paul Taylor

Paul Taylor is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in journalism, research, and non-profit leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Fellow at Encore.org since December 2016, Taylor focuses on mobilizing older adults for community engagement. Prior to this, Taylor held the position of Executive Vice President at the Pew Research Center from 2004 to 2014, overseeing a diverse team and directing research on demographic and social trends. As the founder and president of the Alliance for Better Campaigns (1996-2003), Taylor aimed to enhance the quality and affordability of political campaign communication. Taylor also has a rich background in journalism, having worked as a Political Reporter and Foreign Bureau Chief at The Washington Post and as a Reporter and Political Columnist at the Philadelphia Inquirer. Taylor holds a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from Yale University.
