The executive team at Cogent Biosciences has a long history of experience in the medical and pharmaceutical industries. They have worked as senior medical directors, attending physicians, associate directors, corporate controllers, and principal accounting officers at companies such as Takeda, Sanofi Genzyme, Merrimack Pharmaceuticals, Fractyl Laboratories Inc., and Dicerna Pharmaceuticals, Inc. They have also been controllers and senior managers at CFGI. In addition to their medical and pharmaceutical experience, the team is also educated in accounting, chemistry, biology, and Scandinavian studies from schools such as Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, the University of Gothenburg, Atlantic School of Chartered Accountancy, and Acadia University.
